Tournaments - some handy tips

Tournaments and competitions are a fun way to meet other archers and improve your personal archery experience, gain various awards and if you're lucky win medals too.  It can be daunting competing for the first time, so here is a guide from Archery GB on what to expect at your first tournament and how to prepare for it, types of competition and awards available and a bit of background on etiquette and how to score.  Obviously it's much more fun to be going with along with other archers from your club and if they have experience of these events they will be happy to guide you through your first few.  You'll soon be making friends with archers from other clubs and maybe from all over the UK.
