SAFEGUARDING
Cymric Archers are fully committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk by:
-
Ensuring that the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk is paramount.
-
Creating and maintaining the safest environment possible for children, young people and adults at risk participating in archery.
-
Taking all reasonable steps to promote safe practice and to protect children, young people and adults at risk from harm, abuse and exploitation.
-
Ensuring a Club Welfare Officer has a position on the Club Committee
In accordance with Archery GB insurance requirements, Cymric Archers comply with the Archery GB Policies for “Safeguarding Children, Young People and Safeguarding Adults”. The Club Welfare Officer and coaches have completed relevant and required CPSU / NSPCC Child Protection Courses, and have enhanced DBS checks completed through Archery GB.
